The Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) was designed by the internationally acclaimed architect Charles Gwathmey.

Soft diffused light enters the museum through a clerestory window creating the right ambience for viewing art. The museum threw open its door to the public in February, 1996. It displays the works of contemporary masters and new artists with 8- 10 exhibitions annually. Works of artists like Dan Flavin and Alex Katz are prominently featured in the museum. A superb collection of more than 400 art works reflecting the latest trends in the world of art is presented by the museum.

One can visit the MoCA any day between Tuesday and Saturday from 11am- 5pm and as well as on Sundays noon- 5pm. For those who want a psychic touch, a new interactive wishing well has been installed, toss a coin into the well and hope your dreams come true. But there is a catch! Your wish will be granted only if it is unselfish.
