National Hotel

The luxurious National Hotel, designed by the famous architect Roy France, was built in 1939 and is the finest example of Art Deco of the 1940's. In 1997, the new owners Hans- Joachim and Ursula Krause restored and reopened the hotel with art treasures of the 1940's and were honored with the ‘League's prestigious hall of Fame Award' and the 'Dade Heritage Trust Preservation Award' for art deco preservation.

In the premises of the hotel there is a famous French restaurant named Tamara de Limpicka, famous for its French Fusion cuisine. Situated in the heart of South beach and very next to the famous Delano Hotel, the National Hotel is surrounded by nightclubs and cafés.

Its lobby is furnished with antiques and wood furniture, whereas the guest rooms are furnished with modern European geometric shapes and classic colors, and all equipped with modern amenities. Guests can access the high- speed internet via their laptops in their rooms and also in the hotel's premises.

The National Hotel is very concerned about the health of its guests, so it gives complimentary yoga sessions on Friday, Saturday & Sunday morning at the poolside of the hotel and also provides the facility of a fitness club in the hotel's premises.
