Tucked away in a secluded residential area on James Avenue, Casa Tua presents a novel approach to dining in Miami Beach. The restaurant brings a whiff of the Mediterranean into Miami. It was designed like an Italian style villa, with extensive well laid out gardens by architect Robert A. Taylor and is even listed on Miami Beach's roster of historical places. A gorgeous stone beach house gives way to a verdant outdoor garden terrace with white linen topped tables for its guests.

Executive chef Sergio Sigala and sous- chef Gabriela Bergomi combine their talents to create innovative variations of Italian cuisine. Tantalizing courses include veal marinated in lime juice, seared beef tenderloin with foie gras, and scaloppine with wild mushrooms. After dinner guests can cleanse their palate with frozen champagne soup and fresh fruit salad.

Often changing menus showcase simple, sophisticated ingredients that symbolize the best of Italian cooking, such as an appetizer of deliciously moist burrata mozzarella cheese with six types of tomato.
