Miami Beach, the lost paradise
If you are looking for a perfect place to settle, combined with island and metropolitan living, Miami Beach is for you. This is a city located in Miami, state of Florida where it has been one of America’s best beach resorts destination. The city became official on March 26, 1915. One of Miami's popular beaches is the South Beach where topless sunbathing is allowed. Adding to the fame of the beach would be attributed to the 80s TV show starred by Don Johnson.
In the early years, the site was originally a swap to be use for growing mangroves but instead avocado groves grew. Through the efforts of John Collins, John and James Lummus as well as Carl Fisher a construction of bridge across the bay was built. When the city was added to the Ocean beach, it was then name to Miami Beach.
Miami On The Rise
Miami encountered several blows in the late 1920s due to hurricane attack in Florida followed by the Great Depression. Come the middle of 1930s, the city came to rise and several constructions of buildings were made. Another blow was survived as the aftermath of the World War II popularized the city since most of the hotels in the area were used to house the army trainees. After all the city has to endure, the region became a famous tourist destination.
From its humble beginning, Miami Beach is now one of the sought after area for luxury resorts. Sleek design and artwork adorn every five star hotels in Miami.
