Nestling in the heart of Miami Beach, Jackie Gleason Theater has become a byword for entertainment. The theater has evolved from the modest Miami Beach auditorium which began way back in the 1960s. It hosted television tapings of the Dick Clark Show and the Ed Sullivan Show.

Before being christened as the Jackie Gleason Theater after the famous comedian Jackie Gleason, the Miami Beach Auditorium was the home of Golden Era legends. The theater is a state- of- the- art performing arts facility, managed by SMG. For over fifty years the Jackie Gleason Theater of the performing arts has been South Florida's home for the best in Broadway shows, ballet, classical contemporary concert performances, music and dance. Renovated in 1992, the theater can accommodate more than 2,700 guests. This acoustically sound theater has hosted some of the world's greatest artists, including Ravi Shankar, Caetano Veloso and Paco de Lucia. The Walk of Stars is located just outside the box office entrance of the theater. Established in 1984, the Walk of Stars enables the city of Miami Beach and the Jackie Gleason Theater to honor celebrities that have made significant contributions to the cultural landscape of Miami. Parking is available at the 17th Street surface lot & five- story garage directly across from the theater.

Hours: Mon- Fri 10am- 5:30pm
